Teacher had to tell her deaf students that "breaking wind" made noise

In a world that seems to be constantly bombarding us with harrowing, sad news, it’s nice when something pure makes its way out of the woodwork. Anna Trupiano, a first-grade teacher for students of hearing impairment shared a moment that she had with her students that the majority of us never even think about – breaking wind makes noise.

The conversation started after one of her students passed gas, attracting the attention of “hearing” students. The student asked why he was being stared out, to which Trupiano had to explain – he’d been heard.
