YouTube star and television presenter, Emily Hartridge has tragically passed away. Hartridge was riding her electric scooter in Battersea where she collided with a lorry. This is the first the first fatal e-scooter collision in Britain.

The 35-year-old gained a massive following on social media, mainly on her YouTube channel with her comedic outlook on life. Hartridge then took on a role as a TV presenter, interviewing some of the biggest names in the film industry such as Russell Brand and Hugh Jackman.

Her death was officially announced on her Instagram profile

Many took to Twitter to voice their shock and sadness at the news

Days before her passing on Friday, Hartridge posted an adorable picture with her niece, saying “who knows, one day hopefully I’ll have my own”
