Woman's online shopping hack is the perfect way to buy shoes

Shopping online is pretty wonderful. Drink in hand, TV on, you can spend hours searching through items from the comfort and safety of your sofa only to have them dropped at your door days later. It truly is great.

However, one of the (very few) downsides to online shopping is getting it wrong. Whether the store’s images are a little *cough* complimentary or the colours are off on a particular shot, you can actually end up getting something that you imagined to be way different. The same goes for adding accessories to an outfit – you don’t really know what will work until you try it all on.

To combat the latter issue, Auckland radio DJ Megan Papas shared her trick of finding the perfect shoes for her outfits. Megan simply prints out a photo of her side profile wearing the outfit, snips off her feet and holds them against the online store’s images. And, she even laminates the picture – how’s that for commitment?
