Owner of corgi shares "horrifying" image of her dog lying on the kitchen floor

The internet can be a dark, sordid place. A place where many people upload pretty horrifying images and videos that can genuinely scar you for life. This is not one of those times.

The owner of a corgi uploaded images of a scene she found in her home – her dog lying on the kitchen floor in what, at first glance, looks pretty terrifying. That is, until, you realise the reality of the situation. Candy, had in fact helped himself to a jar of jam which consequently ended up covering him head-to-toe in the red preserve.

Then, full of sugar and fruity goodness, Candy decided to take a nap on the kitchen floor, flat on his back as his owner claims is pretty normal for him.

Relieved followers commented on the post, thankful that Candy is okay. One said: “I would have immediately panicked and started crying as I ran to check him out. What a heart attack. It is funny now that you know it is jam!”
