I’m not sure what your take on high-street fashion is, but personally, I do believe that it a fairly peculiar world.
Case and point: Cardi B was at the Paris Fashion Week yesterday, but unrecognizable. Why, you may ask? Because she decided to go ‘undercover’ by wearing a floral face mask.
And let’s be honest, the pop sensation has been known to have an eccentric taste in clothes, but this was certainly a step in totally different (and whack) direction. I have so many questions. How did she breathe properly in this? Was her vision not hazy? It is not bothering her to have cloth draped around her face?
And while I am fully aware that Cardi B will not be answering any of my concerns soon, here’s some more details about her ‘look’. The head-to-toe floral print was created by British fashion designer Richard Quinn for one of the runaway shoes that Carbi B attended. Nobody was able to guess that it was the singer herself, up until she spoke, “What’s poppin’ baby?” in her familiar style and announced her whereabouts on Instagram. And well, we all know that even when she’s speaking with profanity. Cardi B has a knack of sounding animated and funny.
Naturally, fans worldwide feel differently, and are calling the star’s incognito look a bold statement that took the couture week by storm. This bizarre avant-garde look was followed by a librarian look-alike style, when she wore while watching Thom Browne’s fashion show, the designer who was responsible for her iconic Met Gala gown.
One thing is for sure though, love her or hate her, Cardi B never refuses to entertain and surprise audiences!
